Learning Support Assistant Burnley – Mainstream Secondary School Pay: £400 - £475 per week (dependent on qualifications and experience) Start Date: Immediate or Flexible Vision for Education are currently seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a mainstream secondary school in the Burnley area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require additional academic and emotional support within a classroom setting. About the Role Are you passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning in a mainstream school environment? As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils aged 11-16 who may have a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, or Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). This role involves a mixture of 1:1 support and small group interventions in and out of class. You will: Support students in accessing the curriculum Promote engagement and positive behaviour Assist teaching staff in creating an inclusive learning environment No formal qualifications are required, but enthusiasm, resilience, and a positive attitude are essential.
