Senior Global Risk Consultant
Location: Bristol, Edinburgh, London (Hybrid). In this position, you'll be based in either the Bristol, London or Edinburgh office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. The TPRM Senior Risk Consultant is a senior role within the Global Risk Group and is responsible for supporting and overseeing the business in the execution of their Third-Party Risk Management responsibilities as set out in the Enterprise Risk Framework as approved by the Board of Directors.

The TPRM Senior Risk Consultant is part of the Global Risk Group, part of Computershare's second line of defence. The role supports, monitors and oversees the implementation of the Third Party Risk Management framework globally. The role holder partners with specific business stakeholders to ensure that risks are identified, assessed and treated in line with the globally set risk appetite. The role holder will not only oversee Third Party Risk Management but will also support the implementation of strategic risk projects acting as advisor and consultant.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the independent 2nd line risk coverage for Third Party Risk Management acting as a constructive and where appropriate challenging partner to the business.
* Supporting and overseeing business in the execution of their Third-Party Risk Management responsibilities, as set out within the CPU Enterprise Risk Framework (including Loss Events, Risk and Control Self-Assessment, Top Risk, Risk Appetite and Risk Metrics).
* Delivering on and sometimes managing strategic/change risk programmes driven globally.
* Supporting and overseeing Third Party Risk, Third Party Due Diligence, Outsourcing and Inter-company agreements.
* Support the operational development of the GRC tool and deliver training to the first line businesses where necessary.
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of data and commentary required for formal reports used in various governance forums and committees relating to Third Party Risk Management.
* Promoting Third Party Risk Management in a maturing and diverse global business.
What will you bring to the role?
This post will require someone with a strong functional knowledge of TPRM, risk advisory, audit or compliance experience. You will need to demonstrate understanding of how all 3 lines of Defence operate in a complex global financial services business alongside a tangible working knowledge of policies, processes and tools involved in leading and delivering a risk framework.
You will have significant experience of being a risk manager and good knowledge of the operational, financial and regulatory complexities impacting the business from strategic, operational and change.
Key skills
* The Senior Risk Consultant role requires an in depth understanding of implementation and or oversight of Third Party Risk Management.
* You will be expected to be able to develop solutions as part of a global team with an aggressive change agenda.
* The role also requires strong analytical thinking skills including the ability to research and understand complex processes and present these to mid-to-senior level stakeholders, combined with the gravitas to challenge the business when necessary to ensure risks are addressed appropriately.
* Experience in leading and delivering risk and control assessments and demonstrated ability to perform process analysis and experience in designing controls.
* The role holder must be capable and confident in playing a significant role in contributing to the deployment of a Global Risk programme, building effective relationships within the team and wider business.
