The role:
Reporting directly to the Head of People, you will play a central role in strengthening HR infrastructure and scaling best practices. You will lead core HR operations including payroll, employee engagement, recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and systems management—ensuring smooth and strategic processes.
This role offers an opportunity to shape company culture, enhance employee experience, and support strategic initiatives.
You will:
* Own all HR operations, overseeing policies, processes, pay reviews, and benefits renewals.
* Lead payroll and rewards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Handle employee relations, supporting managers with advice and managing cases fairly.
* Drive employee engagement initiatives.
* Support recruitment and onboarding processes.
* Manage HR systems and generate reports for decision-making.
* Review and improve HR processes for operational excellence.
* Ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR, and audit requirements.
* Shape compensation and benefits frameworks.
The person:
* Degree educated, ideally CIPD L7 qualified.
* Experience in HR operations, preferably in tech or fast-paced environments.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law, payroll, benefits, and compliance.
* Experience managing HR systems and reporting tools.
* Proactive, credible communicator, and collaborator.
* Passionate about employee experience and HR innovation.
* Comfortable with ambiguity and change.
