Digital Marketing Executive – Riven Associates
Reports to: Sales Manager
Role Purpose
The Marketing Executive is responsible for planning and delivering day-to-day marketing activity that supports the organisation's strategic marketing objectives. This role bridges strategy and execution, taking ownership of campaigns, content, and channels, while contributing insight and improvements that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement in line with SMART marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Delivery
• Plan, deliver, and optimise marketing campaigns aligned to business and marketing objectives.
• Supports company targets
• Coordinate activity across multiple channels to ensure consistent, joined-up messaging.
Content & Brand Ownership
• Create high-quality marketing content across digital and offline channels, including website content, email campaigns, social media, and sales collateral.
• A keen eye for design and attention to detail producing high quality marketing content.
• Ensure all marketing output reflects brand positioning, value proposition, and tone of voice.
• Act as a brand guardian, maintaining consistency and quality across all marketing materials.
Digital Channels & Performance
• Manage and maintain core marketing channels, including website updates, email marketing, and social platforms.
• Monitor channel performance and use insight to recommend and implement improvements.
• Support SEO, content performance, and campaign engagement through practical optimisation.
Market, Customer & Competitor Insight
• Contribute to market research, customer insight gathering, and competitor analysis.
• Use insight to inform messaging, campaign direction, and content priorities.
• Work with sales and client-facing teams to reflect real customer needs and feedback in marketing activity.
Sales Enablement & Collaboration
• Work closely with sales to align marketing activity with pipeline priorities and commercial goals.
• Create and maintain marketing assets that support sales conversations, proposals, and service launches.
• Support productised service messaging and go-to-market activity.
Skills & Experience
Essential
• Proven experience in a marketing role, ideally in a B2B or professional services environment.
• Strong content creation skills, with confidence writing for different audiences and channels.
• Practical experience managing digital marketing channels and campaigns.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver to deadlines.
• Comfortable using data and insight to inform decisions and improvements.
• Owning assigned campaigns end-to-end, from brief through to delivery, review, and improvement.
