Overview
We are looking for an experienced senior post‑contract manager to lead the post‑contract phase of complex housing and construction projects. Your role will ensure developments are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, ready for letting or sale. You will manage contractors, oversee project viability, mitigate risks, handle escalations and report performance to senior leadership. Strong leadership, excellent communication and a focus on customer outcomes are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee multiple projects from contract to handover, coordinating teams, consultants and contractors to ensure smooth delivery.
* Monitor performance, manage budgets and cash flows, ensure compliance with regulations and Homes England requirements.
* Lead project close‑down to capture lessons learned and maintain high‑quality standards.
* Resolve customer concerns efficiently and capture lessons for continuous improvement.
* Provide regular reporting on project status to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in construction, project management or a related field.
* Chartered status (RICS, MCIOB or equivalent) desirable.
* Evidence of IT literacy and a full UK driving licence.
* Ability to complete a basic DBS check.
* Proven experience in post‑contract project management and track record of delivering complex projects.
* Strong contract and team management skills, confidence in managing budgets, risks and project viability, excellent problem‑solving and stakeholder management.
Employment Details
Permanent, full‑time. Based from either of our main offices in Tewkesbury or Wolverhampton with regular site travel required.
