Job Summary
You're someone who gets people. This isn't just spanners and engines—our mechanics are out there on driveways, chatting with customers, giving advice, and representing the RAC with pride. Responsibilities
* You like mixing things up. Each day is a bit different—servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks. You’ll also manage your stock, do reporting, and keep customer conversations flowing.
* You think on your feet and make the right call for each customer, handling different fixes, faces, and new challenges daily.
Qualifications
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* At least 2 years' hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Location & Hours
Peterborough, Cambridgeshire – 40 hours per week (core hours 8:30 am‑5:00 pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays). Full‑time position.
Salary & Benefits
* A base salary of £40,170, with on‑target earnings up to £52,000.
* Guaranteed overtime option to increase base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
