SEN Teacher | SEN Schools & Units | North London

Tradewind Recruitment are actively seeking dedicated SEN teachers to join SEN settings across Camden, Islington, Haringey and Enfield. These include specialist SEN schools, primary and secondary SEN units, Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) and SEMH schools. The positions focus on teaching students with a wide range of Special Educational Needs. Tradewind have full time and part time positions available, commencing in September 2025. As a SEN Teacher you will be responsible for the below:
1. Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to SEN students' individual learning needs
2. Creating and adapting curriculum content to ensure accessibility for all learners
3. Implementing specialized teaching strategies using various methods including PECS, makaton and other assistive technologies
4. Developing and reviewing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalized learning objectives
5. Leading collaborative work with teaching assistants, families, and external professionals
6. Assessing, tracking and documenting student progress and educational outcomes
To join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with demonstrated experience teaching children with SEN across various needs and conditions
8. Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (where relevant) and satisfactory professional references
9. Comprehensive CV detailing employment history for the previous 10 years where available
10. Valid right to work in the UK
