Who is the opportunity with?
This client is a family-owned global business that specialises in companion animal nutraceuticals—non-drug substances that are administered with the intent of improving health & well-being of animals.
Their products support companion animals across categories such as joints, gastrointestinal health, internal organs, skin/coat, and brain/behavior.
Over 90% of their products are produced in-house in their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, with a presence in over 40 countries worldwide.
What does the role consist of?
As an Area Sales Manager, you will cover a geographical territory in the Bournemouth area, preferably near Salisbury. The first 42 weeks include comprehensive training, some on-patch, some virtual, and some on-site at HQ in Lytham (fully expensed).
Daily activities include 3-4 meetings, focusing on new business and existing accounts, representing the full range of nutraceuticals to veterinary practices.
The company promotes from within; past graduates have advanced to roles like UK National Sales Manager and Business Unit Manager for Western Europe.
What are the company looking for?
An ambitious university graduate (2.1 or higher) seeking an entry-level sales role. A driving license and a company car are provided. No prior experience required. The role suits confident, friendly individuals who are relationship builders, resilient, target-driven, and have a driving nature.
