A female Personal Care Assistant is required to provide personal and practical support to enable a disabled lady to live independently and socially, both at home and in the community.
Main Duties
* Support with personal care tasks (may include assistance with bathing, but primarily being present while the lady showers)
* Support with meal preparation and cooking
* Assistance with household tasks (laundry, cleaning, changing bedding, etc.)
* Support during social and leisure activities
Car driver essential - The lady has a Motability vehicle which she drives herself but may occasionally require the assistant to drive.
Qualifications
* Applicants must be aged 21 or over, due to insurance requirements under the Motability scheme.
* The successful applicant will be required to complete (free of charge) an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
