Senior UI Digital Designer
About the job
We’re looking for a Senior UI Designer to lead digital design and website builds for EF English Live. You’ll shape the future of our website, ecommerce flow and digital design language to drive engagement and improve ecommerce conversion through user centric design combined with EF’s design philosophy, all with a mobile-first mindset.

2. Position: Full-time (4 days per week in office)

What you’ll do
4. Lead UI design and development for EF English Lives website across mobile and desktop to drive engagement, signups and ecommerce growth.
5. Utilize a diverse array of design techniques from concepts and wireframes, to designs and prototypes all in Figma.
6. Build and maintain our website using our CMS platform Storyblok, ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality across all web touchpoints.
7. Champion a user-centric approach to UI design using qualitative research and quantitative data from our user research teams to guide design decisions and iterations.
8. Evolve our digital design system, UI components and graphics to elevate and unify all our brands digital touchpoints.
9. Collaborate across teams and functions form creative and copy to tech and product.
10. Present concepts, rationale and outcomes to senior leadership.
Must-have hard skills
11. Extremely high level of proficiency in design tools and methodologies, including but not limited to Figma, wireframing, workflow diagramming, and prototyping.
12. CMS site-building experience: design and publishing content and pages within a CMS (Storyblok)
13. 5-8 years professional UI/digital design experience. Ecommerce experience highly desirable.
14. Mobile first designs are your bread and butter. You understand user flows, design psychology and an ability to wireframe and design solutions that drive engagement and ecommerce growth.
15. Proven track record designing for A/B tests.
16. Experience with design systems and scaling design across large sites for multiple languages.

18. Clear, confident communication with cross-functional partners and non-creative stakeholders.
19. Collaboration & feedback literacy—giving/receiving notes, iterating quickly.

21. Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, start-up like environment.

22. Desktop and mobile website designs (ecommerce example desirable)
23. Wireframing and prototype designs with a clear understanding of the customer funnel.
24. Examples designing and building component libraries for multi-language websites with component variations for A/B testing.
25. Responsive email template designs for marketing campaigns desirable.
