NRW People is excited to offer a rewarding temporary TAF Worker role with Vale of Glamorgan Council, based at 7 Skomer Road in Barry. Starting1 December 2025, this 18-week position covers a vacancy pending review, offering a chance to deliver impactful support in a hybrid, community-focused environment.
What You’ll Do:
* Provide direct support to families, conducting assessments of need/risk, facilitating TAF multi-agency meetings, and implementing tailored plans per Families First guidance.
* Use motivational techniques to engage families, escalate safeguarding concerns, and maintain accurate records.
* Attend meetings, contribute to service development, and work 4 days in-office + 1 day from home.
What We’re Looking For:
* A dedicated individual with family support experience, strong communication, and a proactive approach.
* Ability to work full-time (37 hours) in a hybrid setting and reside within commuting distance to CF62 9DA.
* No Social Care Wales registration needed—ideal for those growing in social care!
Essential Requirements:
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Signed Confidentiality Agreement (to be submitted with application).
* Criminal Convictions Declaration (to be submitted with application).
