Special Educational Needs KS1 Teaching Assistant
We are working on behalf of a brilliant special school seeking a SEND KS1 Teaching Assistant to join from the summer term, ideally on a long-term basis. The school caters to a wide range of special needs and disabilities, often including complex needs.
The school offers a unique environment and is proud of the valuable services it provides to local families.
The Role
The Teaching Assistant will primarily provide general classroom support and 1-1 assistance. You will be working in a KS1 class of 6 students alongside 3 other TAs. The class is known to be a wonderful environment, with experienced full-time TAs and a class teacher who have been there since the start of the year and know the students well.
It is essential that candidates have some experience working with SEND, whether in a school or support work setting. The school values patience, positivity, enthusiasm, proactivity, and hard work in its staff.
