Product Lead (SSO / Customer Identity Programme) – Contract
Role Overview
We are working with a leading professional organisation in the chemical sciences to find a Product Manager to join them on a 10-month contract, starting ASAP.
The role focuses on supporting the delivery of a customer Single Sign-On (SSO) programme and implementing a central identity platform (using Auth0 or similar) across multiple digital products and websites.
The successful candidate will coordinate delivery across engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders, helping ensure a smooth rollout of identity capabilities and onboarding of digital products into the platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Support delivery of the SSO programme across multiple websites and digital products
* Coordinate with engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure effective delivery
* Help prioritise and manage the identity platform backlog
* Track and report on core authentication KPIs, including:
* Sign-in success rate
* Account creation success
* Password reset journeys
* Assist in defining onboarding processes for new digital products
* Work with third-party providers such as Auth0 and Okta
Required Experience
* Experience as a Product Manager or Digital Product Manager
* Exposure to SSO, login systems, or customer account journeys
* Experience working with engineering teams to deliver web or platform features
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience tracking user journeys or conversion metrics
Nice to Have
* Experience with identity platforms such as Auth0, Okta, or Azure Active Directory
* Understanding of authentication flows (OAuth, SAML)
* Experience working on multi-site or platform migrations
Contract Details
* Day rate: £220–£320/day
* Location: UK (remote or hybrid depending on requirements)
* Contract length: 10 months
* Start date: ASAP
