As a Second Line Engineer, you’ll be based at the Manchester office, working across multiple client sites when needed. You’ll support both internal and external IT environments, assisting with installations, escalated incidents, and ongoing technical support. You’ll be the go-to person for resolving more complex issues, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering excellent service across a wide client base. You’ll also have the option to get involved in small to medium project work, and the continued improvement of documentation and processes. Must-Have: 3 years in a 1st or 2nd Line IT support role Hands-on with: Windows Server 2012–2022 Windows 10/11 Microsoft 365 Active Directory (on-prem & Azure) TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP Hyper-V or VMware Full UK Driving Licence Confident working onsite and independently Nice-to-Have: Experience in an MSP LAN/WAN hardware knowledge (Switches, Routers, Firewalls) Exposure to VOIP, SIP, Fibre, ADSL/VDSL Experience with Ubiquiti, SonicWALL, or Fortinet Relevant technical certifications Ready to Apply?
