Overview
We’re seeking enthusiastic and dependable Driver’s Mates to support delivery operations for a leading logistics provider working with a major UK retailer. Based in Scunthorpe, you’ll assist the driver in delivering goods to customers’ homes, ensuring a smooth and professional service.
Responsibilities
* Assist with loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
* Support the driver with navigation and customer interactions
* Handle products with care and attention
* Ensure timely and accurate deliveries
* Maintain a positive and helpful attitude with customers
Compensation & Schedule
* Hourly Rate: £13.15 p/h basic wage; £19.73 Overtime rate on all hours after 8 hours.
* Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:00 start times, averaging 8 hour shifts
* Closing Date: 20250904
Experience & Qualifications
* Good level of physical fitness for manual handling
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A customer-focused approach
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
* Previous experience in a similar role is a bonus but not essential
