The Role
Are you a natural-born Event Planner with an eye for detail, a flair for sales, and a passion for creating unforgettable moments? Do you thrive on delivering weddings, conferences, and standout celebrations, and love turning ideas into reality?
We’re looking for a dynamic, people focused superstar to join a small, close-knit hotel team, offering a fantastic opportunity to put your own stamp on a newly developing events department. You’ll play a key role in helping our hotel regain its position as the go-to destination for weddings and events, with real scope to influence how the department grows and operates.
What you'll be doing?
* Leading the planning and execution of weddings, conferences, and private events.
* Building real relationships with clients and making every interaction unforgettable.
* Being the face of the business for all things events charming, engaging, and fast to respond.
* Converting enquiries into confirmed bookings with your winning sales energy.
* Working alongside the wider hotel team to deliver events that guests rave about.
* Keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes with expert organisation and laser sharp attention to detail.
* Manage event timelines and schedules.
What we're looking for?
* Have at least 2 years experience in events, wedding or conference planning.
* Know what it means to deliver hospitality from the heart.
* Are fast on your feet, quick to respond, and always two steps ahead.
* Love people and bring an infectious energy to everything you do.
* Understand sales and can confidently convert enquiries into bookings.
* Can juggle tasks, manage timelines, and still spot the tiniest detail.
* Are a true team player who lifts others up and drives revenue forward.
* Strong Organisational and time management skills.
* Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
* Ability to multi task and work well under pressure.
