As a Driving Examiner you will be at the heart of this mission, as you will help us ensure people get their driving future off to a great start. As such, we are looking for proactive, friendly and safe drivers who would like to train to become fully qualified Driving Examiners.
What you will do
* Oversee seven driving examinations per day, meeting people from all walks of life and helping them feel at ease.
* Use a tablet to record results and determine whether candidates meet the required standards.
* Assess readiness of drivers who are seeking to obtain their licences and deliver feedback in a constructive, professional manner.
* Complete training online, followed by practical training at a local test centre, with up to three weeks of guidance at a regional training facility.
Requirements
* Hold a UK or EU driving licence for at least three years.
* Have no more than three penalty points on your licence.
* Strong knowledge of the Highway Code and correct road procedures.
* Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills; calm and unflappable under pressure.
* Respect for diversity and inclusivity; friendly and team-spirited attitude.
