In this role, you'll primarily deliver classroom-based Mechanical Engineering training, teaching subjects such as Engineering Mathematics, Material Science, Health & Safety and core Mechanical Engineering principles. You'll work closely with apprentices and full-time learners, helping them develop the technical understanding and problem-solving skills required for modern engineering careers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong Mechanical Engineering background gained within manufacturing, production, design or a similar engineering environment. Previous teaching experience is not required, as full training and a recognised teaching qualification will be provided.

The Role
* Deliver Mechanical Engineering theory sessions to apprentices and full-time learners
* Teach Engineering Mathematics, Material Science, Health & Safety and core Mechanical Engineering principles
* Support, mentor and develop the next generation of engineers
* Full teacher training and recognised teaching qualification provided
* Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
The Person
* Strong Mechanical Engineering background
* Experience within Manufacturing, Production, Design or a similar Mechanical Engineering environment
* Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
* Passionate about developing others and sharing technical knowledge
* Looking to build a long-term career in education
* No previous teaching experience required
