Hygiene Manager-Nights
Location: Attleborough
Contract: Permanent
Use the principles of OPEX to deliver the strategy for Food Safety & Hygiene whilst complying with legislation and driving improvement through governance and initiatives.
Responsibilities : Build a safety culture across the site.
Reduce hazards, risks, and incidents by driving the Health & Safety agenda through strong hygiene practices.
Drive Health and Safety training across the night hygiene teams
Embrace "Go for Zero" by promoting positive behaviours, root causing near misses and coaching team to manage safety in their areas.
Ensure that all team members have the appropriate training and resource to do their required task in a safe manner.

Create a strategic plan to improve efficiencies and standards of cleaning, using the master schedule tool to align with the business goals.
Communicate the progress against targets regularly up and down the organisation ensuring that KPI's are being maintained at the required rate.
Ensure that each team member understands their role in delivering our business goals.
Build relationships and maintain strong communication with effective handovers between days and nights
To drive technical excellence for hygiene standards as part of OPEX
Adopt appropriate OPEX tools and upskill the team creating a culture of learning.
Ensure new and effective ways of cleaning are constantly evaluated with the teams.
Reward both successes and ideal behaviours when demonstrated and address any performance issues promptly and discretely. OPEX Improvement
Use data analysis to make problems visible, quantifiable and to guide decisions.
Manage projects in accordance with the site goals and gap up activity timelines.
Ensure compliance to SOPs and frequently measure compliance
Essential Criteria: Experience in leading a night hygiene operation.
Hygiene related Certificate or Diploma
Understanding of best practice in hygiene management
Experience Hygiene and microbiology.
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
The ability to influence culture standards.
Natural coaching ability
