An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Farm Manager to oversee the wider day‑to‑day running of Torwoodlee’s renowned cattle enterprises.
The Estate runs 225 Luing and Sim‑Luing suckler cows on the hill, which also produce replacements for a 150‑cow commercial Sim‑Luing herd, block‑calving in spring and autumn.
The successful applicant will be responsible for herd health and welfare, breeding, grazing management, record‑keeping, and general farm maintenance across 2,600 acres. Knowledge of, and experience with cattle, good communication skills, and a full driving licence are essential.
Training can be provided where required. Package: Salary dependent on experience with an attractive 4‑bed farmhouse and other benefits.
Start date: June 2026. Flexible start date negotiable.
