This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer to join a leading regional house builder where you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of multiple housing developments.
About the Role:
As Site Engineer, you will provide technical support and setting out expertise across several live residential sites in West Yorkshire. You'll be responsible for ensuring all engineering elements of the developments are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with drawings and specifications.
You will work closely with Site Managers, subcontractors, and the Technical team to ensure work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with design and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out for foundations, drainage, roads, sewers, and house plots
* Checking line and level of all works to ensure accuracy throughout the build
* Conducting and reviewing site surveys and maintaining accurate site records
* Coordinating and managing all engineering-related queries on site
* Ensuring works are carried out in line with technical drawings, design specifications, and NHBC standards
* Liaising with utility providers, local authorities, and external consultants
* Supporting the preparation and implementation of QA and H&S documentation
* Assisting with build programme delivery by helping resolve any engineering or design issues
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer within the residential or housing sector
* Strong knowledge of groundworks, infrastructure, and setting out for housebuilding
* Proficient in the use of GPS equipment/Total Station and AutoCAD
* HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering or similar
* CSCS card (Engineering or Technical)
* Full UK driving licence
* A proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative working style
