We’re now looking for a Head of Product to join the leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to be part of the founding team at an early-stage startup with traction, funding, and partnerships — with a comfortable salary and meaningful equity to reflect the impact of the role.
The Role
As Head of Product, you’ll be both a strategic leader and hands-on builder. You’ll define and own the product vision, shape our roadmap, and drive day-to-day product delivery in a lean team.
You’ll work directly with the CEO and engineers to ship impactful features quickly, test ideas with users, and ensure our product continues to make a measurable difference to people’s financial lives.
What You’ll Do
* Own the product vision and roadmap, balancing user needs with commercial goals
* Write specs, create wireframes, and run user testing — you’ll be hands-on every day
* Manage and prioritise the backlog, ensuring we deliver high-impact features at pace
* Use Open Banking and product data to drive personalisation, nudges, and insights
* Oversee/manage key integrations (Open Banking, partner APIs, CRAs) and compliance requirements
* Test, launch, and scale new and existing revenue streams
* Help scale the platform — ensuring it remains secure, scalable, and cost-efficient
* Foster a culture of experimentation, accountability, and impact
* Represent product and tech internally and externally, including with partners and investors
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
* Have recent hands-on product experience in FinTech, ideally in credit, credit scores, open banking, personal finance, or other similar consumer products
* Are currently a product manager, designer, or technical manager ready to take the next step into a leadership role
* Are comfortable building 0→1 and 1→n products
* Are highly skilled at wireframing and prototyping to accelerate discovery and delivery (bonus points if you’ve worked in Figma)
* Bring enough design experience to shape clean, intuitive user journeys. We have external design support available, but you’ll need the basic design skills
* Can balance strategy with execution: you’re just as happy rolling up your sleeves to write a user story as you are discussing long-term roadmap
* Understand how to work in a lean early-stage environment — prioritising ruthlessly and moving fast
* Have experience working closely with engineers to get features live
* Are mission-driven and excited by the idea of helping people improve their financial lives
* Are motivated by long-term growth and impact — happy to take a modest salary now in exchange for meaningful equity and the potential for a significant future payoff
* Are London-based or able to commute regularly for in-person collaboration
