CBRE is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic facilities management team. Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks across commercial properties.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including distribution boards, lighting, and power outlets.
Support mechanical and fabric maintenance as required, ensuring comprehensive site coverage.
Conduct inspections and testing in line with statutory requirements and CBRE procedures.
Respond promptly to breakdowns, faults, and emergency situations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Document all work activities, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports to management.
Participate in energy-saving and optimisation initiatives, contributing to sustainable site operations.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and CBRE's best practices at all times.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
Proven experience in a similar electrical maintenance role within commercial or industrial environments.
Strong understanding of building services, including HVAC, BMS, and mechanical systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
IT literacy and experience with maintenance management systems.
Desirable Skills
Experience with energy management and optimisation projects.
Knowledge of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and security systems.
Full UK driving licence.
