The role:
As an Export Coordinator, you will help drive our goals by:
 1. Arrange safe, secure, and compliant transport and collection of all UK and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery to meet customer requirements.
 2. Prepare and manage all shipment documentation (Commercial Invoices, Delivery Notes, Certificates of Origin, Dangerous Goods Notes, etc.) in line with customs and export control regulations.
 3. Liaise with and manage freight forwarders/carriers, resolving issues such as delays, losses, or damages, and reviewing performance regularly.
 4. Support sales and customer service teams by providing shipping advice, approving freight invoices, communicating potential delays, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
 5. Strong IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams) with experience in export/import operations post-Brexit, including documentation, Incoterms, and customs/export compliance.
 6. Knowledge of international regulations and procedures for hazardous and dangerous goods (Air, Road, Sea), with good geographical awareness.
 7. Excellent communication, numeracy, planning, and problem-solving skills; quick to learn new systems and take ownership of work.
 8. Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills, commercial awareness, and a customer-focused mindset.
