What You’ll Be Doing:
As a key player in our Mechanical Platform Systems team, you will:
* Develop Design Evidence: Create a robust package of design evidence to ensure safety and effectiveness, instilling confidence in our customers.
* Prototype Development: Specify and assist in building prototypes, products, and systems ready for testing.
* Issue Resolution: Provide timely corrective actions for all assigned defects and issues.
* Commitment Management: Ensure that commitments are agreed upon, reviewed, and met.
* Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers on technical matters.
* Effective Presentations: Present technical information to both technical and management audiences, staying updated on novel concepts and markets.
* Technical Documentation: Author and co-author technical reports, papers, articles, patents, and presentations as needed.
Your Skills and Experience:
We’re looking for candidates who possess:
* Educational Background: A degree in Engineering, Mechanical, or Science subjects.
* Documentation Skills: Ability to create and present design documentation to customers and wider groups.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in solving complex engineering calculations.
* Technical Proficiency: Experience with CAD, MS Office, and comfort with other IT applications.
