Job Title: Risk Programme Technical Lead (National)
The Risk Programme Technical Lead will be responsible for site based leadership of our Risk Specialist team. Supporting the Risk Programme Manager in delivering a programme of Asbestos Management Plan Reviews and Visual Re-Inspections against a planned schedule.
They will lead by example in delivering their own patch of Visual Re-Inspections and act as supervisor/line manager to other members of the Risk Specialist team across the UK providing support where required and acting as a conduit for escalation to the management team.

Strategic Planning and Review
Proactively manage the 'Asbestos Management Plan Review' and 'Visual Re-inspection' schedules.
Lead the on-site delivery of the Visual Re-inspection programme.
Support with planning & delivery of remediation and corrective action where required.
Work closely with the Risk Programme Quality Assurance & Support leads streamlining information and reporting flows and establishing good communication and relationships with stakeholders.
Working with the Risk programme manager and PFS Hazardous environments lead continue to improve and develop processes and associated management frameworks to ensure robust programme and risk controls.
Work with several internal stakeholders including CBRE Helpdesk, Compliance Admin, Risk and Assurance teams and Operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of planned activities.
Lead from the front in resolution of issues including Access Management.
Ensure records are uploaded to Alphatracker correctly, at register/ACM level
Project support- Technical expertise for difficult or larger scale remedials
Quality and Safety Management
Lead our Risk Specialist team in ensuring H&S processes and activities are adhered to and that they are equipped to do so.
Monitor and identify areas for improvement as a matter of course by challenging processes and ensuring suitable checks are in place because of any changes planned or executed.
Create a culture of exceptional quality and innovation managed throughout the process across all teams involved.
Set an example of exceptional standards in all activities, language and communications.
Working with other R&A leads as well as our on account QHSE team, identify and act on safety trends and reports to create interventions to protect the business, our people and drive continuous safety improvement.
Customer Relations
Represent CBRE and the Risk & Assurance team in a professional and credible manner to customers, both internally and externally to the wider businesses.
Focus on ensuring excellent service levels are always maintained.
Always remain accessible and responsive to customers/stakeholders.
Utilise technology channels to improve engagement and the pace of communications.

Person Specification:
Essential:
A inspiring leader that engages his/her teams to deliver their best work.
Several years of experience in the control of asbestos industry
Qualified asbestos surveyor (P402 or RSPH certificate) or suitable experience and alternative qualifications.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent suitable experience
Full UK driving license
Reliable and hard working with a consistently detailed approach
IT competent (tablet-based data capture and report generation)
Excellent relationship building skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
Must be detail conscious, accurate and methodical in approach with strong organizational and communication skills.
Organized, able to prioritize and deliver within high pressure, business critical environments
Able to work systematically and use own initiative, often working on more than one task at any given time.
Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to other areas of the business on occasions, as required.
Must be flexible to work outside core office hours from time to time.
Must be willing and able to travel as part of role, including overnight stays where required to fulfil programme needs.
Desirable:
Microsoft Excel & Alphatracker software experience
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Experience of using MS Power Automate an advantage
Experience of a leading programs/processes.
Experience within the Facilities Management sector is preferable
