About the Role
One of my lcal government clients is seeking a skilled and proactive Legal Administrator to join their Property Legal Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal professional with a background in property law, conveyancing, or residential transactions to contribute to the council’s important Buy Back 50 Project.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the acquisition and management of residential properties, ensuring that all legal processes and documentation are handled efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities

Draft and prepare legal documentation including Agreements and Deeds of Surrender.
*
Manage property files from initiation through to completion.
*
Complete and submit SDLT and HM Land Registry applications.
*
Support a range of property and residential transactions, including Right to Buy matters.
*
Liaise with internal departments, external solicitors, and other stakeholders to progress matters efficiently.
*
Ensure compliance with local authority and regulatory requirements throughout the process.
About You
We’re looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:
*
Previous experience as a Legal Administrator, Paralegal, or Legal Assistant within property law or conveyancing.
*
Strong drafting skills and familiarity with property transaction documentation.
*
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
*
A proactive, professional approach with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
*
Strong communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders.
