We've partnered with a fast-growing organisation who are hiring a commercially driven Commercial Operations Manager to lead revenue growth across the business through the sale and delivery of events, sponsorships and partnerships.
This is a new role with ownership of the full commercial lifecycle - from pitching and closing deals to delivering high-quality, repeatable events and sponsor activations across multiple sites.
The Role
* Drive revenue through corporate, private and community events, including corporate days, client events, team-building and tournaments
* Identify, pitch and secure sponsorships and brand partnerships (multi-club and individual club)
* Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across events and partnerships
* Create compelling event and sponsorship packages and close commercial agreements
* Own the delivery of events and sponsor activations, working closely with site teams
* Ensure events are commercially successful, professionally delivered and repeatable
* Identify opportunities to maximise secondary revenue linked to events (pricing, memberships, F&B, retail)
What We’re Looking For
* 6+ years’ experience in sales, partnerships, or commercial events (sport, hospitality or lifestyle preferred)
* Proven track record of closing deals and delivering revenue targets
* Confident pitching to businesses, brands and partners
* Highly organised, commercially minded and comfortable working autonomously
* Strong relationship-builder with a proactive, can-do attitude
* Experience across multiple sites or fast-growth environments a plus
* A passion for sport is a bonus
