The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised QA/QC Officer to join our Quality Assurance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our products meet internal, regulatory, and customer quality standards. You will be responsible for reviewing batch documentation, managing sampling activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting product release and archiving processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesBatch Documentation Review (Primary Focus):
* Review batch documentation for accuracy and compliance.
* Identify and escalate deviations, OOS/OOT, and discrepancies.
* Archive and control documentation per QA procedures.
* Release products following successful review and testing.
Sampling & Sample Management:
* Sample raw materials and manage sample transportation.
* Log samples and maintain traceable records.
* Archive retention/reference samples and support daily sample collection.
Documentation & Record Keeping:
* Maintain Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) and QA logbooks.
* Archive documents in line with compliance requirements.
* Support labeling and artwork reconciliation processes.
Quality Support & Continuous Improvement:
* Assist in investigations and recommend corrective actions.
* Support ISO 9001 and VMD accreditation compliance.
* Monitor and record temperature excursions.
* Participate in audits and provide documentation as required.
About YouEducation & Experience:
* A good standard of practical manufacturing experience.
* Previous experience in a QA/QC role is desirable.
Technical Skills:
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and laboratory portals.
* Numerate and literate with excellent attention to detail.
Behavioural Skills:
* Self-starter with high personal standards.
* Comfortable communicating across all levels, including external auditors.
* Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Initial 3-Month Temporary Contract (with potential to become permanent)
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Hours; Mon- Fri
