Duration: 12 Months Clearance required: SC IR35 Status: Inside Job Spec: Senior Engineer - Stress & Structural Analysis Base Location: Working from Farnborough and/or MoD Boscombe Down Purpose We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Stress and Structural Analysis Engineer to work as part of a multi-disciplined team of engineers to develop modifications and trials installations to the QinetiQ fleet of aircraft (both fixed wing and rotorcraft) and customer's aircraft to defined customer requirements. The role will require Finite Element Analysis, hand calculation and compilation of reports, as well as on aircraft surveys and tests to Stress Office and AEC processes to certify the designs to Regulatory Specifications. The role is for an experienced senior engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience working on aerospace products and/or aircraft modifications. Candidates with experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) for a CAA / EASA 21J and/or MAA DAOS organisation is highly desirable.
