Project Manager

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Project Manager to join our growing delivery team in Reading. This role is ideal for someone looking to build on their project delivery experience and develop their career within a supportive and evolving project environment.
You will play a key role in delivering IT infrastructure and workplace technology projects, including IMACs (Installs, Moves, Adds & Changes), hardware refreshes, infrastructure rollouts, and multi-site installations. Working closely with customers and internal teams, you will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high quality standard.

What You'll Be Doing
Project Delivery
Manage end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects and technology deployments
Act as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders
Ensure projects are delivered to agreed scope, quality, time, and budget expectations
Produce and maintain key project documentation including plans, schedules, risk logs, and change controls
Support strong scope and change management to maintain delivery control
Lead project meetings, updates, and service reviews with customers
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with customers, engineers, and delivery teams
Provide clear and timely project updates and reporting
Support successful project handover and customer satisfaction
Process & Continuous Improvement
Follow established project governance and reporting standards
Support improvements to project delivery processes and tools
Proactively identify risks and work with teams to resolve issues
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
Proven experience delivering IT projects such as:
IMACs / workplace technology deployments
Infrastructure rollouts and refresh programmes
Hardware installations and multi-site deployments
Experience managing customer-facing projects from initiation through completion
Ability to coordinate engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders across multiple locations
Strong organisational and communication skills
Desirable Experience & Skills
Exposure to IT service delivery, outsourcing, or technical deployment environments
Understanding of project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMI or similar)
Experience using MS Project, Microsoft 365, or project tracking tools
Awareness of financial tracking and project cost control
Important Notes
Infrastructure Focus
This position focuses on IT infrastructure, hardware deployment, and workplace technology projects. It is not suited to project managers whose experience is primarily in software development or application delivery.
