Senior Event Manager Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative events agency with a passion by bringing joy through events with some of the UK's biggest & brightest brands and leisure destinations.
We aren't looking for someone to just 'manage events.' We are looking for a powerhouse Pod Lead. At Moo & Goo, we've moved to a high-performance 'Pod' structure. You will be the captain of your own ship, acting as the tactical lead for your portfolio and the mentor to a dedicated Event Executive. We work with some of the UK's biggest brands and shopping spaces and places and you will too, including the likes of British Land, JLL, Savills and McArthur Glen Designer Outlets, Pets at Home and Silentnight.
You'll be the primary face of Moo & Goo for our most valued clients, the technical expert for our production partners, and the visionary behind our biggest pitches. You'll have the autonomy to run your projects your way, ensuring every activation is delivered with our signature 'Moo' magic.

The Big Picture
At Moo & Goo, we don't just run events, we build immersive experiences. We are looking for a powerhouse Senior Event Manager who can navigate the high-stakes world of medium-to-large scale events with a cool head and a creative eye.
As a senior leader in our team, you will be the go-getter of the client relationship and the architect of their vision. You'll oversee everything from the first 'what if?' in a pitch to the final 'thanks for making the magic happen' post-event report. You aren't just managing a checklist; you're leading a team, negotiating with partners, and ensuring every prop, costume, and set is executed to perfection.
Your Core Responsibilities
· Client Architect: Act as the primary lead for our awesome clients, translating their wildest objectives into actionable, high-impact events and impressive returns on investment through seamless comms.
· End-to-End Execution: Lead the full lifecycle of events; budgeting, timelines, supplier coordination, and on-site launching.
· Strategic Growth: Provide 'innovative-yet-practical' guidance to clients, identifying opportunities to upsell services and grow our footprint within their brand.
· The 'Fixer': Proactively anticipate risks. If a supplier drops the ball or a prop breaks, you've already solved it before the client even notices.
· 'Pod' Leadership: Support the CEO/MD by steering and empowering the wider team. You'll also be responsible for your 'Pod's' professional growth and performance.
· Creative Thought Leadership: From initial vibes to client pitches, you will lead on all major projects.
· Commercial Ownership: You'll turn high-level concepts into 'Production-Ready' briefs that ensue we hit our margins without compromising on quality.
The Day-to-Day Scope
· Financial Mastery: Manage project budgets, ensuring we maximise profitability for the agency while delivering the 'wow' factors for the client.
· Supplier Diplomacy: Identify and negotiate with our network of white-label partners (builders, makers, and performers), ensuring they adhere to our strict T&Cs and brand standards.
· Operational Excellence: Partner with the Warehouse & Logistics team to oversee transport, kit-outs, and third-party setups. You'll be the one building the master timelines that keep us on track.
· On-Site Command: Lead the charge during event days from program coordination to crisis management for both your own events and the wider team's projects.
· Marketing Collaboration: Work with senior management to turn our successful events into marketing gold, contributing to social media strategies and e-newsletters.
· Post-Event Analysis: Turn feedback and data into insights. You'll prepare post-event reports that prove our value and set the stage for the next booking.
Who You Are
· A Seasoned Pro: You've got 3 x years of experience in high-end event production or experiential marketing. You know your RAL codes from your Pantones and can spot a technical snag from a mile away.
· A Master Communicator: You are as comfortable leading a pitch in a boardroom as you are talking shop with a build crew. You know how to manage client expectations with grace and authority.
· A Natural Leader: You enjoy teaching others the ropes and take pride in your team's success. You know how to delegate effectively so you can stay focused on the big picture.
· A Self-Starter: You don't need a manual and thrive under pressure. You see a problem, you fix the process, and you keep the momentum going.
· Industry Savvy: You stay ahead of trends. You know what's next in event tech, sustainability, and immersive design.

Salary
£35,000 - £40,000 (Based on experience)
