The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.
Due to growth within our workshop team, we are now looking for a Workshop Support Operative to join our team to support the team in preparing our forklifts trucks to a retail ready standard for our customers.
In this role you will be:
* Working with the Workshop Engineers on general workshop repairs and maintenance.
* Preparing, sanding, and painting machines ready to go to customer sites.
* Working closely with workshop supervisor to achieve maximum productivity and meet monthly targets.
* Providing outstanding customersatisfaction with finished product.
* Completing work at high standard.
* Building and maintaining professional relationships with all departments
* Ensuring agreedtasks are completed in the set time, and work areas are tidy.
What will help you to excel in this role:
* Experience in a body shop environment would be beneficial. (However not essential)
* Background in prepping and body repairs
* A base knowledge of mechanical engineering
* Good communication
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
