Prospero Teaching are searching for a HLTA to work within a client school in Liverpool!
The school caters for children with severe learning difficulties from the ages of four to eleven, with the aim to provide exciting opportunities for children to learn in a safe and happy school setting.
They offer a personalised curriculum in a caring, stimulating and challenging environment, encouraging independence and the skills needed for daily life.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting class teachers and working on a one-to-one basis with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist class teachers in planning and delivering effective lessons.
2. Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
3. Implement and adapt pre-planned activities to meet the individual needs of students.
4. Collaborate with the SENCO and other support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
The ideal candidate will:
5. Hold HLTA status/QTS or experienced being an unqualified teacher
6. Work with teachers to plan, organise and support teaching and learning activities for classes.
7. Provide short-term cover supervision to small classes
8. Relevant experience supporting pupils in UK SEN Schools and Education settings
9. Have the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with staff, pupils and parents

15. Minimum rate of £ per day
16. Hours – 8:30am – 3:30pm
To be eligible for this role, you must:
17. Hold Right to Work in the UK
18. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
19. Provide two recent professional references
