Line LeaderRotherhamPermanent Night Shift: Monday-Friday, 10pm-6am
Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to once again be exclusively supporting a global food manufacturer in their search for a Line Leader to join a brand new permanent night shift.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated team leader or production supervisor who enjoys leading people, driving performance and maintaining high standards across safety, quality and productivity.
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will lead a team of production associates within either the process or packing area, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently and to the highest food manufacturing standards.
Key responsibilities of the Line Leader include:
* Leading and motivating production teams to achieve daily output targets
* Ensuring high standards of health & safety, food safety and GMP across the production area
* Monitoring production performance using KPIs and driving improvements where needed
* Ensuring production processes and documentation are completed accurately
* Managing staffing levels and supporting the effective use of agency labour
* Coaching and developing team members to improve performance and capability
* Supporting performance reviews and people management processes
* Working closely with engineering teams to respond to breakdowns and maintenance requirements
* Supporting audits, innovation trials and site visits
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have supervisory or team leader experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment, with the below skills & experience:
* Experience as a Team Leader, Line Leader, or Production Supervisor
* Previous experience working in food manufacturing or FMCG
* Strong people leadership and motivation skills
* Good organisational and communication abilities
* Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment
* Basic IT and systems skills
* A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
