We are recruiting caring, enthusiastic and self-motivated Part Time Support Workers to join our team in Thurso. You will work in a flexible and customer-led manner to meet the needs and preferences of the people we support, enabling them to live the life they choose.
Responsibilities
* Support a young gentleman with Autism, learning disabilities and epilepsy by following a detailed care and support plan.
* Work with shifts that vary across mornings, afternoons and evenings; no sleepovers required, and you will work alongside another experienced support worker.
* Spend your shift with the person you support, making a meaningful impact on their life through activities and personal care.
* Engage in outdoor activities and community involvement as part of person-centred support.
* Maintain a flexible and proactive approach to meet individual preferences and plans.
Who we’re looking for
* Dedicated team players with experience supporting adults with Autism, learning disabilities or epilepsy, or those with the values to work in social care.
* Patience, empathy, reliability, honesty, determination, problem-solving, and resilience.
* Full UK driving license is required.
