HGV TechnicianLocation:PortsmouthSalary: up to £47,600Hours: Days & Lates shifts available - 42.5 hours28462We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our clients workshop in Portsmouth Our client specialises in fleet vehicles including transits, sprinters, and various other LCVs. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles, including trucks and vans. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.HGV Technician responsibilities :Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issuesPerform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspectionsUse diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issuesKeep accurate records of all work performed and parts usedCommunicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendationsMaintain a clean and organized work areaKeep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniquesHGV Technician requirements:At least 1 year of experience as a HGVtechnicianAbility to use diagnostic tools and softwareStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsValid driver's licenseWe offer a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for growth and advancement.
