The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility in workload management to handle peaks and troughs, and providing ad hoc support as needed. Excellent time management skills are essential to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. The ability to make independent project decisions is also crucial.
Job Responsibilities
* Produce accurate print specifications, select suitable suppliers, and request quotes.
* Estimate costs efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring deadlines are met.
* Review submitted costs, identify discrepancies, potential savings, and negotiation opportunities.
* Manage quality issues related to deliveries or services, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
* Raise and process purchase orders and related documentation.
* Handle daily administration using the company's M.I.S and other software packages.
* Liaise with Account Managers and Sales teams when taking client briefs.
* Manage print requirements for various direct mail campaigns.
* Knowledge of offline marketing routes (e.g., door drops, P.A.M, insert placement) is beneficial but not essential.
* Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.

* Must be a considerate team player within the production team and collaborate closely with sales and customer service teams.
* Enthusiastic and inquisitive, eager to understand what is being purchased and why.
* Always looking for opportunities to improve.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
