Responsibilities
* Provide level 3 Immediate Life Support Training and ward-based education to a broad field of clinical staff across the Health Board.
* Monitor standards of resuscitation practice and equipment.
* Support clinical areas with their quality improvement plans in response to the Acute Deterioration Programme.
* Serve as part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team to empower front‑line clinical teams to recognise, manage, and escalade acutely unwell patients.
* Travel mainly to Bronglais General Hospital in Aberystwyth or Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen, and occasionally to other hospitals within the Hywel Dda Health Board.
Qualifications
* Registered professional currently working within acute services.
* Up‑to‑date U.K. Resuscitation Council approved Advanced Life Support (ALS) / European Paediatric Advanced Life Support (EPALS) Certificate, or willingness to undertake an ALS/EPALS course to achieve provider/instructor status.
* Confidence and enthusiasm in educating and supporting front‑line multidisciplinary clinical staff.
