What You’ll Do As a Breakfast Chef, you’ll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality breakfasts that get our guests’ day off to the best start. You’ll manage your section efficiently and ensure every plate leaves the kitchen looking and tasting great. Position Statement: As Breakfast Chef you will be responsible for: Preparing and servicing an elevated breakfast offering for the restaurant and in-room dining Ensuring that the highest culinary standards are maintained at all times Carrying out all service standards and the efficient operation of the kitchen function pre and post service. Preparing mise-en-place. Preparing daily Team Member lunch. Assisting the kitchen team during busy service periods as and when required. Ensuring quality standards and procedures are fully understood and implemented, carrying out daily checking procedures. Maintaining effective communication and relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining an effective operation to ensure guest satisfaction. Ensuring a safe environment is maintained in compliance with health, safety, fire, and hygiene. Essential Criteria Excellent communication skills. Ability to demonstrate a flair and passion for food and food presentation. Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to deliver exceptional standards in a pressurised environment. Hold a recognised, current Food Hygiene Certificate. Previous experience within a similar role. Desirable Criteria Previous experience within a hotel environment.
