NS217590 – Senior Project Manager – Value & Sustainability Programme
Applications are invited for the post of Senior Project Manager for the Value and Sustainability Programme, based within the Planning, Innovation and Programmes (PIP) Directorate, NHS Grampian. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a project management role, demonstrated by successfully leading and delivering projects. Highly developed leadership, communication, interpersonal, organisational and influencing skills are required.
Overview
The PIP Directorate leads the development of strategy and implements programmes of activity and redesign in line with our ‘Plan for the Future’ strategy across NHS Grampian and the wider health and social care system. This role is a permanent, full‑time position in Summerfield House, Aberdeen, with a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
* Produce timely and accurate project plans and complete project management documentation.
* Collaborate and challenge stakeholders across the wider system to achieve shared goals.
* Lead, develop, manage and provide assurance on specific projects within the Value and Sustainability Programme.
* Deliver efficiencies across a number of areas, focusing on maximising non‑financial benefits while enabling agreed financial efficiencies.
* Report to the Programme Lead for the Value and Sustainability Programme and work closely with Senior Responsible Officers aligned to the specific projects.
* Balance empathy with a strong focus on delivering high‑quality results within time‑critical deadlines.
Qualifications
Required experience includes:
* Extensive project management experience with a proven record of leading and delivering projects.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
* Experience working in a health or social care setting is desirable.
Location & Working Pattern
Based in Summerfield House, Aberdeen. This is a full‑time role with a hybrid working model; time will be spent both at office and working from home.
