Early Years Teacher (Permanent) – Reception
Location: Chatham Start Date: September Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Contract: Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Chatham on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for an experienced Reception Teacher, with the potential for Early Years Lead responsibilities for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework
* Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, ensuring all children reach their potential
* Support and guide support staff within the classroom
* Contribute to the development of the Early Years provision (including leadership responsibilities if applicable)
* Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Previous experience teaching in Reception / Early Years
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (desirable)
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Experience or interest in Early Years leadership (highly desirable)
