Area Director Opportunity with a Market-Leading Digital Brand covering South West of England. Salary: £75k to £85k (depending on experience) £10k Bonus The Company Our client are a market leader and household brand operating in an exciting and expanding digital marketplace. They are currently looking to recruit an Area Director who demonstrates a hands-on approach, responsible for a team covering London. The Role You will have responsibility for a team of approximately 5-7 people. This will see you being very hands on in regards to coaching, developing, motivating, and supporting your team of account managers. You will build a plan, set objectives & help your team define their own area plans to achieve targets and objectives. Commercially astute you will contribute to the strategic direction of the business and demonstrate strong leadership, and to act as a role model whilst supporting company values across your team. The role is flexible working so you can enjoy mixing working from home with being in the field to visit your team and customers. We’re looking for someone who: Has a proven track record of managing a high a performing sales team and increasing revenue and market share. Is used to regular 1-1 coaching and performance management Are a great coach, identifying learning needs to enable team to reach their full potential by conducting regular and effective coaching & 1-2-1’s and performance management. Have a plan, set objectives & help your team define their own area plans to achieve targets and objectives. Superb analytical and planning skills and competent with IT Superb communication/negotiation skills up to boardroom level Develop relationships with key customers and influencers in your area Have a solid understanding of sales process. Overall, you have experience of building great teams that perform. Preferably you have advertising or media experience What you get: Basic salary negotiable up to £85k, plus bonus.
