We are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to join our New Options Primary School - Bower Lodge in Dibden, Southampton.

~£5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30
~ Permanent, Term Time only
~ As a Teaching Assistant, you will connect directly with the brilliant pupils and young people we care for, helping to make sure they get the very best from their education. Each individual has a diagnosis of Autism and may have additional needs. You will help prepare learning materials and run classroom activities, with plenty of hands-on experience and some supervision too. We need people who share our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.
We are looking for passionate staff who want to support pupils with a variety of complex needs such as Autism. Taking a responsive and caring approach, you may be running classroom activities, leading outdoor experiences or supervising pupils as they explore further afield.
Our schools are built on great teamwork and mutual support. You will be calm, engaging, resilient, enjoy working as part of a team, and be genuinely motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.
Educated to GCSE grade C or above in Maths, Science and English
Our New Options Primary School - Bower Lodge located in Dibden, Southampton has a capacity for 40 pupils catering for autistic young people aged 4 – 11.
For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
