Overview
We’re seeking a motivated Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our friendly practice in Brigg. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while working towards a recognised qualification.
Responsibilities
- Provide the best patient care from the moment a patient walks into the practice until the point they leave.
- Support dental professionals and provide chair‑side assistance to enable delivery of high‑quality patient care.
- Learn how infectious diseases are transmitted and how to prevent them.
- Gain knowledge of dental materials, equipment, and resources.
- Acquire skills for dealing with medical emergencies.
- Understand legislative compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Develop clinical skills, health promotion, and patient care and management.
Qualifications & Training
- Will achieve a Level 3 qualification following an 18 – 24 month training programme.
- Must achieve Level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSEs grades A‑C) if not already achieved and provide evidence.
- Training schedule: Week 1 – Mon 08:15‑16:15, Tue‑Fri 08:15‑17:30; Week 2 – Mon 08:15‑16:15, Wed‑Fri 08:15‑17:30, Sat 08:30‑15:00.
