The Role
As a Senior Development Designer, you will develop point-of-sale (POS) display and retail fixturing concepts into working solutions.
Working across the entire project lifecycle, you will oversee briefing, the creation of technical drawings, production methods and material specifications, prototyping, testing, final design detailing and production.
You will manage several projects simultaneously as well as other designers, communicating internally with design colleagues and externally with other departments and suppliers.
About You
To be considered as a Senior Development Designer, you will need:
- Experience as a development designer in a POS design and manufacturing company
- A portfolio reflecting work within the retail design sector
- Competency in the use of Solidworks
- An understanding of current manufacturing techniques in plastics and sheet metal fabrication, injection moulding, joinery, etc.
