Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Hull
Salary: £99 - £125 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025 or now
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting a Cover Supervisor (CS) for daily supply work in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience without the pressure of planning or marking.
What You Will Do:
* Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of teaching staff across a range of subjects.
* Maintain a positive and focused learning environment.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Provide support to students and ensure learning continues in the teacher’s absence.
* Report back to staff on student engagement and behaviour.
What You Need:
* Experience working with young people (in education, youth work, or similar).
* Strong classroom management skills and a calm, confident presence.
* Ability to build rapport quickly and work flexibly across subjects and year groups.
* A degree or TA qualification is desirable but not essential.
* An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
