A fantastic retail business located in Sheffield’s city centre are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their business on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.
As a Finance Assistant, your role is key for supporting the businesses’ finance function. Therefore, you must have a proactive and collaborative attitude, you must also be detail driven and complete tasks on time and with accuracy.
The role of a Finance Assistant includes:

Coding of supplier invoices & posting them onto Sage.
*
Maintain the sales & purchase ledger.
*
Assist with credit control, chasing payments via letter & email.
*
Conduct weekly payment runs.
*
Assist with cash, bank & credit card reconciliations.
