We are recruiting for a national organisation seeking an experienced, commercially driven Head of Commercial to lead the growth of its training and solutions portfolio. Reporting to the CEO, this senior leadership role carries full responsibility for commercial strategy, revenue growth and market expansion. You will sit within the senior leadership team, shaping business direction while leading from the front; personally securing new business and engaging with senior stakeholders, including Directors, across a national client base. The role involves regular national travel and relationship management at executive level. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver a clear commercial growth strategy Identify new market segments and expand service offerings Set and achieve annual sales budgets and revenue targets Lead, coach and develop a high performing Business Development team Personally lead sales activity and secure key contracts Build strong internal relationships to maximise cross selling opportunities Ensure accurate CRM reporting and pipeline management Maintain strong external stakeholder relationships to drive long term growth What were looking for: Essential: Senior-level B2B sales experience with full commercial responsibility Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets Experience leading and developing successful sales teams Confident influencing and negotiating at Director level Strong CRM and sales performance management experience Desirable: Experience within commercial training or regulated/technical sectors Understanding of competency or workforce development frameworks Skills & Attributes: Strategic yet hands-on commercial leader Excellent communicator and relationship builder Results-driven, organised and commercially astute Comfortable with regular national travel Whats on offer: Senior leadership role with genuine strategic influence National remit with autonomy and visibility Opportunity to shape and grow a high potential business area Competitive salary and benefits package
