About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Handy Person to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a residential/service environment, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained setting for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance & Repairs
* Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks
* Undertake internal decorating touch-ups
* Assist with simple maintenance and operation of heating systems
* Report faults, breakages, and safety concerns to management
Health & Safety
* Complete weekly/monthly health & safety site inspections
* Conduct fire alarm tests and maintain accurate records
* Perform community alarm checks (including pendant alarms on request)
* Monitor safety equipment (including fire safety checks and expiry dates)
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work policies at all times
